Web Design for EmberRose Salon

The EmberRose Salon website was designed to make the booking experience more clear and intentional from the start. The site focuses on helping clients understand their options, who they are booking with, and what makes the most sense for them. The goal was to remove guesswork without oversimplifying the process, allowing users to move from browsing to booking with more clarity and confidence—especially those visiting for the first time.

The Problem

Most salon websites rely on vague service menus and minimal stylist bios, leaving clients to make decisions without enough context. This often leads to uncertainty around what to book, who to book with, and whether the service will actually match their expectations.

For EmberRose, this was more complex because each stylist operates independently with different specialties, approaches, and ideal clients. Without clear structure, there was no easy way for users to understand those differences or confidently choose the right fit.

About Us & Bio Pages

The About page sets the tone and gives just enough context about the salon, but quickly shifts focus to what actually matters—who the stylists are and how they work. Instead of over-explaining the brand, it moves users straight into the team, where each stylist is presented through a consistent structure—Focus Areas, Approach, Client Fit, and Specialties—so clients can easily understand the differences without having to read everything in detail. The goal wasn’t just to introduce the team, but to make it easier for someone to figure out where they fit, turning what is usually passive content into something more functional and guiding users from general interest to actually choosing the right stylist.

New Client Page

This page is designed specifically for first-time clients. Instead of presenting a full service menu, we created a set of simplified service blocks that allow new clients to book on their own with confidence. Each option is intentionally broad, giving enough structure to guide the decision without requiring technical knowledge. The goal is to make the first appointment easy to commit to. Once a client comes in, their stylist builds out a more specific plan, so future bookings are clear and personalized.

Contact Us & Join Our Team

These pages were designed to keep communication simple and direct, without adding unnecessary friction. The Contact page prioritizes clarity. Key information like phone, address, and booking access are surfaced immediately, with a form available for anything that requires a bit more context. The goal was to give users multiple ways to reach out depending on what they need, without overcomplicating the experience. The Join Our Team page takes a similar approach, but shifts the focus toward attracting the right stylist. Instead of a long, formal application process, it keeps the tone approachable and the barrier to entry low—inviting conversation rather than requiring commitment upfront. Together, these pages support both sides of the business. One makes it easy for clients to get in touch, while the other creates an open, low-pressure entry point for potential team members.
